How's the Weather in Homer, Alaska?

Homer's weather is similar to many seaside communities. Visitors should be prepared for summer weather from cloudy and rainy to sunny and warm. Depending on conditions, summer temperatures are normally very comfortable. Some visitors are surprised by periodic warm, very nice weather during the Alaska summer. It is always wise to dress in layers.
